Great gallery, wow! Talk about prolific :faint:
I see you like velour paper for pastels...I've done alot of pastels, never used anything but sanded stuff, like Kitty Wallis and Colourfix...it is better for detail? My pastels are usually 11x14 up to 24x36, so people that can do sketch card size amaze me.

Guess it depends, I would say what you use is better for detail. Velour leaves everything a tad blurry looking because it's almost a felt like texture. Plus I se the chalky pastel pencils and not wax hard and soft pastels...I would say what you are using is working wonderful from your art.

I only have a couple of pastels up here on DA like this one on colourfix paper [link] ...the others are on my big website where I have work other than portraits. The paper is hard on your fingers (my fav blending tool, even though I love colour shapers too.)
I don't use the pastel pencils much, mostly soft pastel sticks. Charcoal works very similar to pastel pencils.

I was always afraid to try velour. You still work in layers, right? Do you fix in-between layers?
And so small! I would think you'd need the sharp detail. But yours work perfectly, even at small ACEO size, that's why I was intrigued. Thanks!! :D
