Last Saturday while sleeping till the crack of noon I had the TV on and happen to catch the Iron Giant. I was impressed with this little film, sure it's for kids but good animation, 50's sci fi robots, a good story...what can I say, couldn't turn away.. Anyway I did this with some down time, I pathed and painted the robot, billboard and sky in Photoshop and threw in some tree photos with a median on them. This was taken from a scene where the robot successfully blends into a billboard behind him to avoid being seen by the beatnick artist guy.
