despite growing up out side of Philly and being a huge Eagles fan! this is great. I always had a hard time drawing helmets, i dont't know why. That is one hell of a stadium they have too. the big screen is beyond words! had a wild time there a few weeks ago draped in Eagle gear and acting like jackasses. see ya in feb for the Eagles Super Bowl Party. lol ok that wont happen but... its nice to daydream it.
Boo Eaglets...Well as much as I hate to think it, they have a strong chance of getting there. I think Patriots will win it..again yawn...but the Eagles will probably be there. Then again nothing would surprise me, I am hoping for a really odd matchup..like Atlanta and Kansas City. Just keep the Steelers out of there, they have too many rings already. Cowboy's stadium is 5 minutes down the road from me..
well at least we can agree on our hatred of the Steelers! as long as an NFC team wins it all I am happy. My brother lives in Frisco just north of dallas. so it was real cool going to Dallas for an Eagles game. it was our first one in Dallas. tell you what you guys through one hell of a party. it was a lotta fun. every place i visited in Texas was real nice, lotta nice people too. 5 minutes from the stadium, thats gotta be a madhouse when they have big events at the stadium.
Well.. honestly it hasn't been that bad. We will see what the Super Bowl brings, but the World Series was going on here a few months back, and I didn't really notice any difference. I think all the crowd seems to stay East of me towards Dallas, one day they will figure out to go West, Fort Worth is much better. Yeah, I have lived here my whole life...there are assholes just like anywhere, but a lot of good people too.
it was a real different feel in Texas with the people as compared to the people here in souther Arizona. people were more friendly then here over all. my brother works in Fort Worth. he likes it. tell you what I enjoyed all of the real BBQ!!!!!
the place I liked was Twin Peaks! so much nicer then a place like hooters. the food was ok and the views were nice as advertised. its tough to find real BBQ around here. a few places but nothing special.
They blend well that is the nice thing about them, I think I have about eight variants of skin tone markers, and they were $6 each...I ran through three of one color marker. Finally I figured out to order refill ink, one of those is $5 and refills a marker eight times. But still, the whole thing is very expensive. I haven't figured out why they charge so much for them, they are great, but it's rediculous. They seem to get what they ask...if you have a Hobby Lobby by you, they carry them but they are $6.50 each there. If you want to see a cool tuturial on how they work, go to www.Trevmurphy.com and click on his tutorial video section. He showed me a lot about coloring portraits through those tutorials.
thank YOU chris so much for all your help and info i will check out the link yeah they do sound pricey, i have seen similar markers from prismacolors, maybe the ones you are refering to are the same...they tend to be pricey then again what art supplies aren't? pencils used to be the cheapest and even those have gone chris wishing you a happy new year 2011 and hope the year brings you much success and happiness
Ya know, I used to really HATE the Cowboys. That whole "America's Team" thing really rankled me. Not so much anymore, though I have to be honest - I still love watching them loose [which has made this a pretty good year for Cowboy football]. Transferred my serious hate to the Patriots. Unfortunately, barring some wildly improbable scenario, they look like the pre-ordained favorite to not only go to the Super Bowl this year, but most likely win it, as well. Doesn't stop me from looking for that wildly improbable scenario, though.
Worse Super Bowl I could imagine right now, would be them and the Saints. Only reason I'd watch the game would be in the hopes of seeing a couple career ending injuries.
Probably the reason you do not hate the Cowboys as much is they were pathetic this year...if they were good I think your hate would be quite strong lol.. I do not want to see the Saints again or the Patriots, but I have to admire Tom Brady the guy just makes it look easy and has for so long. I think I am going postal if the Eagles/Steelers wind up there....to see either of those teams celebrate in Cowboy stadium would be the final kick in the gut of a terrible season. But it wouldn't surprise me..
Yeah.. that would kind of smart, wouldn't it? The Eagles might make it, hard to say, but the competition in the AFC this year is just over the top and the Steelers are hurting right now. I ain't saying they don't have a chance, but I will say it is a slim one. Mike Vick is out of control, though. He could damn near win them in all by his self.
Yes it will downright suck. How are the Steelers hurting? I thought they were doing okay. I know the Jets are spiraling...Vick is really something else when he is on...the other night he showed his limits. He is only average if you have an effective blitz...
Polamalu is still not 100%, the O Line is a piece meal arrangement of nicked and playing-out-of-position guys, who aren't exactly familiar with one another and Big Ben has that foot problem. Admittedly, they are still doing outstanding, all things considered, but they are in a position where they actually have to have at least two freak plays to win a game. I think you're right about the Jets, though. Their biggest problem [though I really do love the guy], is their coach. Puts a lot of pressure on them to live up to his hype. I still think Philly could go pretty deep into the playoffs, though. Especially considering the weakness of the NFC this season. Team to keep an eye on, there, is Green Bay. If Rodgers can keep himself healthy, they are a serious threat to make a real run at it. Certainly, their defense kicks ass. Sleeper team in the AFC, imho, would have to be the Ravens.
By birth and by choice Im a Bills fan. I know, dont laugh Im a native Western NY'r LOVE where Im from, but its NYC or nothing in New York State. I never was a city guy, so hence the reason I stayed where I was until moving out on my own. i live 45 min south of Seattle, BUT....I am NOT a Seahawks fan. I'll root for them over another team, but I live and die by the Blue and Red!
I can't laugh at any team this year with the Pokes dreadful season...I always kind of liked the Bills, and the Dolphins...can't stand the Giants and Redskins...and it's beyond that for the Eagles... or any team from Philadelphia.
