This is a portrait of a beautiful and good friend from deviant....taken from a few of her photo's,as a kiddo,a high school shot,and now.I need to try and get a better scan,my scanner is starting to give me problems,alot of lines I have to clone out..Graphite pencils on Bristol board 14" x 17".

I love how you added the leaves! And the ladybugs look perfect - add just the right amount of variety. My fav figure is the one in the bottom corner - her hair looks great

Thank you I have to say i went and bought some graphite pencils to use specifically from seeing your Vonnegut...I hope I can do something like that soon,it's inspiring work.

Heh - that's funny, cos Vonnegut is in charcoal (I rarely use graphite) : p

I've only really used General's brand, but I guess it says somethin' about them if I haven't used anything else

Grab one of their tri-tip erasers too - those are like the best erasers on the planet.
