Pastel on velour 9.5" x 12".I originally was going to do a desert background with cactus behind him,but I kind of like him plain like this...what do you think? Background or no? This is John Wayne,and I have never been a huge fan or seen many movies of his,but his face has alot of character he is fun to draw... a rather sizeable legend.

The only thing that I dis-like is the wrinkle of skin over his left eye is too light and stands out very much. Otherwise I LOVE it. THANK YOU

This is a very realistic likeness of the Duke hisself and I happen to think that John Wayne is a really handsome guy in a rugged country boy kind of way.
