Well it's been awhile since I have done any traditional art, and a friend of mine wanted a Favre collage for her husbands birthday, even though I am a Cowboys fan. So I did this one with pastel pencils on matt board, which proved to be difficult, messy and hard to work with.... But it is done now and maybe this will get me started doing more work. I really do not have much energy to do this work anymore, and really am needing a shot in the arm to get going again.

Love the bowling analogy.

Pretty much analogous to how you feel. This being my last semester of classes before I student teach; it's been....anticlimactic in a way. Probably not the best phrasing, but it's the closest to how I feel. I just want to teach and focus on my art instead of all the busy work that I feel I've been stuck with. But it's only two more weeks, a break, turning a quarter century, and then internship.

Plus, I may actually focus on art again.

Thanks Kat this is the only thing i have done in some time, hopefully it will get me back rolling on the art. It is 16" x 20", I think she is pretty happy with it.

Thanks, probably will not do a print of it because it was a commission for someone else and she paid for the original... I might tackle a series of them like this of the big names and make prints...
